Paul D. Ludwig has practiced in civil litigation and business law in Indianapolis since 1981, after graduation Magna Cum Laude from the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis, bringing with him experience as an investigator for the Indiana Attorney General and legislative analyst for the Indiana Judicial Study Commission. His practice presently includes representation of individuals, banking institutions and corporations as transaction and litigation counsel, with an emphasis on protecting creditors' rights in collection of debt and secured transactions. He has lectured on these topics to trade groups, continuing legal education seminars and consumer groups. As plaintiff's counsel, his representation of a decedent's estate in City of Indianapolis Housing Authority v. Pippin, 726 N.E.2d 341, Ind. App., Mar 23, 2000, led to a major decision affirming the duty of landlords to maintain and design safe play areas for their tenants' children regardless of income. He offers flexible fee arrangements tailored to meet the client's needs, including contingent fee agreements in appropriate liability actions creditors' rights actions.
